U.S. Marines with Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command, participate in a “Career Day” event at White Oaks Elementary School, Virginia Beach, Va., April 12, 2024. During the event, Marines answered questions about life and careers in the Marine Corps, brought Improved Modular Tactical Vests (IMTVs) and USMC Main Packs for students to try out, and let the students practice techniques from the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program aims to strengthen the mental and moral resiliency of individual Marines through realistic combative training, warrior ethos studies, and physical hardening.
