Team 16, representing 3rd Battalion, 27th Ranger Regiment, Fort Moore Ga., participates in the 120mm LFX range during the 2024 Best Mortar Competition, Fort Moore, Ga., April 11, 2024. Mortars have the most power and range of any weapon in an Infantry unit. Indirect Fire Soldiers are members of a mortar squad, section, or platoon.
