SUFFOLK, Va. – (April 12, 2024) Sailors assigned to aircraft carrier Pre-Commissioning Unit John F. Kennedy (CVN 79), pick up trash as part of the Clean Up Suffolk community relations event. Partnering with the City of Suffolk, John F. Kennedy Sailors cleaned up roads in the southwest Suffolk community. John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and is under construction at HII’s Newport News shipbuilding (NNS) division in Newport News, Va.
