Mr. Michael Connor, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, visited the Francis Scott Key Bridge response site Wednesday, April 10, 2024, joining Capt. David O'Connell (center), U.S. Coast Guard Sector Maryland - National Capital Region Commander, and Unified Command partners to discuss combined efforts in the Fort McHenry Channel. The Key Bridge Response 2024 Unified Command priorities are to ensure the safety of the public and first responders, account for missing persons, safely restore transportation infrastructure and commerce, protect the environment, and support the investigation of the incident.
