A Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais (Brazilian Marine Corps) recruit stands in formation during basic training at Centro de Instrução Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves, Brazil, on April 5, 2024. Leaders from the Fuzileiros Navais, Marine Forces South, and Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego conducted a Recruit Training Subject Matter Expert Exchange which aimed to enhance the training frameworks and leadership skills necessary for the successful integration of female recruits into the Brazilian Marine Corps. Leaders from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego visited their Fuzileiros Navais counterparts to share best practices and lessons learned from U.S. Marine Corps recruit training integration.
