A U.S. Air Force Airman approaches the finish line of the Norwegian Foot March at Aviano Air Base, Italy, April 5, 2024. First held in 1915, the Norwegian Armed Forces, the Forsvaret, meaning “the defense” in Norwegian, worked to expose new members to field conditions.
