An explosive ordnance disposal team prepares numerous munitions for detonation on April 5 at Iraqi army Forward Operating Base Mahawil, Iraq. The munitions came from caches found in al Qasim and Hashmiyah during the past week. Included in the disposal were 800 PE-4A, 3,200 pounds of unknown bulk explosives, 2,108 projectile boosters, 149 various fuses, 32 landmines, two 120-mm mortars, 32 82-mm mortars, one PG-7-AT-1 rocket, 12 grenades, 49 projectiles ranging from 57-mm to 155-mm, two 122-mm rockets and two 107-mm rockets.
