JOINT BASE LANGLEY- EUSTIS, Va. – U.S. Army Spc. Jesse Beltran, 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, navigates through the smoke of a simulated CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear) attack after conducting an Assault Boat Crossing during the Best Squad Competition held at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, March 5, 2024. In this portion of the competition Soldiers must treat victims, react to indirect fire and transport casualties to safety before moving onto the next event. The U.S. Army Best Squad Competition, a bi-annual event hosted by the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) this year, allows squads to safely demonstrate their mission readiness and represent the XVIII Airborne Corps at higher levels of competition.
