240312-N-LW994-1059 – SAVANNAH, Ga. (Mar. 12, 2024) – A U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combat Crewman (SWCC) throws blankets down the working party line at the Old Savannah City Mission homeless shelter. Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command was joined by sailors from the USS Georgia to engage with and help the Savannah community. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
