Reed believes in servant leadership and ensuring his Soldiers and their families are cared for so they perform their best. Although he relinquished responsibility of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 8th Special Troops Battalion, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, in September 2023, he is slated to take responsibility of his next company just under eight months later.
