Cameron Bridges with Battalion Landing Team 1/1 attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit post security during a helicopter raid exercise for Iron Fist 24 at Okinoerabu, Japan, March 10, 2024. The exercise provided Marines and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers the opportunity to coordinate and rehearse a bilateral helicopter raid operations. Iron Fist is an annual bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and strengthen the relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force, and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.
