Leaders assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division conducted an air assault and ground movement focused on remembering the history of the Fighting Eagle Battalion and planning for its future February 8th, 2024 at Fort Carson, Colorado. This event was day two of the Eagle Academics curriculum, where the focus was to encourage officers and senior NCOs to pursue Army history and strategies to increase leadership performance (U.S. Army photos by 1st Lt.
