U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kaeel EstradaMartinez, a combat engineer with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, maneuvers over an obstacle while navigating an air assault course during Warrior Shield 24 at U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey, Republic of Korea, Feb. 27, 2024. The Marines with 9th ESB conducted the obstacle course to promote unit cohesion and combat readiness. Warrior Shield 24 is an annual joint, combined, exercise in the Republic of Korea that strengthens the combined defensive capabilities of ROK-U.S. Forces. This routine, regularly scheduled, field training exercise provides the ROK-U.S. Marines the opportunity to rehearse combined operations, exchange knowledge, and demonstrate the strength and capability of the ROK-U.S. Alliance.
