YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 2, 2024) - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) is maneuvered by the Valiant-class harbor tug Menominee (YT‑807) and the Japanese tug boat Ashigara Maru through Truman Bay before arriving at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) to replace the USS Antietam (CG 54). For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
