124th Security Forces airmen provide security for the aircraft deployed to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. on Jan. 24 during Operation Snowbird. Snowbird is a chance for the Idaho guardsmen to operate in a deployed environment with specific types of munitions they are not able to use in daily training at their home location, Gowen Field, which requires extra security provided by fellow Idaho guardsmen.
