Michael Kufchak, the 1st Marine Division sergeant major, march into the dining room during a dinner in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the 1st Marine Division at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., Feb. 1, 2013. Bailey and Kufchak, who lead the Marine Corps' oldest and most decorated division, hosted the dinner along with the 1st Marine Division Association. Veterans, Marines, sailors, family members, and friends of the Division enjoyed a formal cake cutting ceremony and a video presented by various units within the Division.
