Charlie Company, 1st Reconnaissance Marines along with Japanese recon and intelligence forces carry a rubber boat into the back of a CH-53E Super Stallion during helocasting training near Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 31. As part of the “Iron Fist” initiative between the Marine Corps and Japanese military, this training exchanged operating procedures and experience with the Marine Corps allies overseas.
