David Anderson, 159th Fighter Wing commander, for a flight during Cope North 24 at Andersen Air Base, Guam, Feb. 20, 2024. The California and Louisiana units deployed to Kadena Air Base, Japan, to ensure continuous fighter presence through the phased return of Kadena’s fleet of F-15C/D Eagles to the U.S. To support this presence, the teams participated in Cope North 24 to build upon multilateral aerial tactics that strengthen the capabilities of Allied and partnered mission throughout the Indo-Pacific.
