Gregorio CalvllioFigueroa, an infantry Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducts a speed reload while moving drill aboard the USS America (LHA 6), in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 14, 2024. The drill reinforces Marines tactical proficiency by reducing reload times. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
