U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Joseph Schulze, the oncoming commanding officer of Alpha Company, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific, gives his remarks during a change of command ceremony on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb.8, 2024. Capt. Kassandra Schmidt took command on Aug. 10, 2023, and relinquished command of Alpha Company to Maj. Joseph Schulze. Schulze’s previous unit was Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, where he served for a year and a half as the Deputy AC/S with G-1, administrative and personnel.
