Walter Reed staff were treated to a Valentine’s Day Staff Appreciation Grab & Go lunch event in the atrium in Arrowhead Zone, Bldg. 9 on February 14, 2024. The event was sponsored by the Robert Irvine Foundation to honor the staff’s hard work and dedication. Box lunches, drinks, and desserts were served up for the staff to enjoy.
In addition to the luncheon, a special Valentine “photo booth” area was set up for staff to photograph themselves and their coworkers, many of whom dressed up for the occasion, then upload the photos to social media as another way to “spread the love” and celebrate the holiday.
