Brian Wilson, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District (SWG), Hydrography Survey Section, small craft operator, places defibrillator pads from an Automatic External Defibrillator on a CPR mannequin during a certification class at the Jadwin Building in Galveston, Texas, Jan. 31, 2024. Wilson and his classmates received CPR certification upon completion of the course, which is valid for two years. The Hydrography Survey Section spends time every week on the waters of Coastal Texas, conducting underwater survey missions. CPR certification gives survey section members important skills which could help them save a life.
