The Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) Civil Affairs Branch invited HMA team members and the Golden West Foundation to a mine risk education course to demonstrate their capabilities as well as allow the HMA program to observe their course to find opportunities for future collaboration. This partnership is aligned with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Humanitarian Mine Action Program, which assists partnered nations affected by landmines, explosive remnants of war, and the hazardous effects of unexploded ordnance.
