The Military District of Washington welcomed newly appointed Director of the Army Staff Lt. Gen. Laura A. Potter onto MDW's headquarters at Ft. McNair to meet the MDW team/staff and to talk about MDW's mission.
MDW's mission includes supporting hundreds of ceremonies, community engagements and other events each year and maintaining a constant state of readiness to respond to potential contingencies in the National Capital Region.
