ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Jan. 11, 2024) Sideboys render honors as Vice Adm. Yvette Davids is piped aboard during a change of command ceremony in which she properly relieved Rear Adm. Fred Kacher to become the 65th Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy. As the undergraduate college of our country’s naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
