U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, view a proper canola planting demonstration during a community relations event at Saitobaru Burial Grounds, Saito, Japan, Japan, Dec. 16, 2023. The event was hosted by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) to encourage positive interactions between the local community and U.S. military members. Marines with MAG-12 were present in Nyutabaru for bilateral training with the JASDF's 305th Tactical Fighter Squadron as part of the Nyutabaru Aviation Training Relocation program.
