Entrepreneurs Ammar Jamal and Manaf Mohamed created Caffeine, an all-in-one online platform for Iraqi restaurants, hotels, and cafés to purchase food and beverage supplies. From basic ingredients like coffee beans and flour, to equipment and supplies, Caffeine offers a seamless experience for its customers to purchase what they need for their businesses.
USAID, through GroFin, provided financial support to help Caffeine increase its product offerings and expand its storage capacity by adding more shelves and growing its inventory. The financing also helped the company better manage its stock to reduce the need for frequent replenishment. With support from USAID, Caffeine has managed to to reduce its costs, leading to greater profits.
