U.S. Army Reserve Staff St. Monical McCall , the Human Resources Sergeant for the 7th Mission Support Command Personnel section, receives her sergeant first class rockers from her husband, Mr. Myshawn Taylor during a promotion ceremony Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, at Daenner Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Families play a huge role in the success of a Soldier's career, providing emotional support and encouragement. McCall expressed her appreciation for her husband. "I took every opportunity possible to become the senior leader I wanted to be," said McCall. "but I didn't do it on my own. Myshawn, thank you for your love and support."
Sgt. 1st Class Monica McCall serves the U.S. Army Reserve as part of the Active Guard - Reserve program, handling the day to day business as full-time unit support for the 7th Mission Support Command. The 7th MSC is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th provides logisitcal and sustainment support for U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
