U.S. Navy Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Alex Pacheco, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, and the coast of Guam is seen from a U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 MH-60S "Knighthawk" helicopter during Operation Christmas Drop 2023 (OCD 23) Dec. 9, 2023. The HSC-25 is a United States Navy helicopter squadron based at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The "Island Knights" of HSC-25 fly the Knighthawk, manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in Stratford, Connecticut. Throughout OCD 23, crewmembers from the U.S., Canada, Japan, and the Republic of Korea delivered 210 bundles to 58 islands over the span of six days. The deliveries of humanitarian aid reached over 42 thousand remote Micronesian islanders across 1.8 million square miles. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Taylor Altier)
