A U.S. Army Soldier with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) operates a homemade antenna constructed from a training model M4-A1 during the inaugural Improvised Antenna Competition at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Dec. 7, 2023. The antenna was the only one to succeed in finding the Wi-Fi signal employed during the Strongest Signal Strength event.
