Interior Communications Electrician 1st Class James Kasparek participates in the Navy-wide chief petty officer advancement examination aboard the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46). Tortuga is underway in preparation for an amphibious integration training and certification exercise, and will participate in the annual multinational joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
