Royal Canadian Air Force Capt. Brendan Harvey, 436th Transport Squadron pilot, prepares for low-cost, low-altitude airdrops across the Pacific during Operation Christmas Drop 2023 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Dec. 5, 2023. Under the leadership of the USAF 36th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, OCD 23 is poised to be a milestone in the mission’s history as a fleet of C-130J Super Hercules and C-130H Hercules aircraft, along with crews from the U.S., Japan, the Republic of Korea, and for the first time ever, Canada, come together to make a difference in the lives of those in need. This event is an opportunity to work together, to learn from one another, and to continue our successful joint efforts in support of humanitarian aid delivery.
