U.S. Marines with 3d Littoral Combat Team, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division receive guidance from a Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques Master Instructor with III Expeditionary Operations Training Group during a HRST Master Course on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Dec. 5, 2023. The course was led by III EOTG, based in Okinawa, Japan, who travelled to Hawaii to certify Marines with 3d LCT as HRST Masters. With the certification, HRST Masters can train Marines to safely and effectively perform helicopter insertions and extractions, rappels, and other rope techniques. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
