Personnel with the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) and the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) prepare to place a casket on a vehicle during a disinterment at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial (MACM) in Manila, Philippines, Nov. 29, 2023. Personnel with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) has worked with members of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) to disinter approximately 550 unknown U.S. personnel.
