    YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 1, 2023) Yeoman 3rd Class Alex Bridges, North Augusta, South Carolina, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) is sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC spray) during Security Reaction Forces Basic training exercise, Dec. 1, 2023. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as the 7th Fleet command ship, it routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
