On 14 April 2023, the 524th Division Sustainment Support Battalion conducted a Change of Responsibility Ceremony between the outgoing battalion Command Sergeant Major Arcelia Staggers and the new incoming Command Sergeant Major Eduardo Gutierrez. The ceremony was held on Weyand Field next to 25th Infantry Division Headquarters with the entire battalion present to witness the ceremony.
