U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jacqueline Peguero-Montes, an Othello, Washington native, and combat videographer with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), operates a SkyDio unmanned aircraft system during fire support team exercise (FiSTEX) on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 29, 2023. FiSTEX enabled Marines from the 24th MEU to conduct fire support with close air support, artillery, and mortar assets, increasing the lethality and interoperability of the air and ground combat elements.
