YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov. 22, 2023) Hull Technician 3rd Class Jack Kyle Owen, from Nampa, Idaho, practices welding using a portable exothermic cutting unit in the metalsmith shop of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan, while in-port Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Nov. 22.
