Lt. Col. Al Alvarez, retired, leads U.S. Army Reserve Command soldiers on a guided tour of the Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N.C., Jan. 11, 2013. Alvarez, who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, provided first-hand accounts of many of the combat operations he experienced during his career as part of the monthly USARC noncommissioned officer professional development program.
