Command Sgt. Maj. James R. Holmes III, Commandant of the 7th Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy (NCOA), hosts the unveiling of a new street dedication, “Silvia Street,” to commemorate the life of service of Silvia Apfelbacher during a ceremony in Grafenwoehr, Germany, Nov. 17, 2023. Apfelbacher served as the administrative assistant to the 7th Army NCOA commandants for 22 years.
