NMRLC Reserve Component personnel completed their active duty training and orientation by deploying a 3 to 1 Expandable, Hard-Sided Shelter used as an operating room, among other applications, in the Navy’s Role III Expeditionary Medical (EXMED) platforms on Cheatham Annex, Nov. 7. They also practiced deploying a Base-X Tent which has the flexibility to be used in Role II - III Navy EXMED platforms, depending on mission requirements. They also practiced deploying an Air-Supported TEMPER tent used throughout the Navy’s Role III EXMED platforms.
