Green Berets with U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Lithuanian KASP (National Volunteer Defence Forces) soldiers begin a combat patrol to reconnoiter ideal locations for an ambush during Saber Junction 23 at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center near Hohenfels, Germany, Sept. 12, 2023. Saber Junction 2023 is an annual exercise designed to increase capabilities and readiness to deter aggression in support of NATO’s collective deterrence and defense initiatives.
