FORT RILEY, Kan. – Hand-made stockings adorn the walls of Fort Riley’s Operation Santa Claus. Volunteers from around the community hand-made over 1000 stockings for this year’s Operation Santa Claus. Each child who receives gifts through Operation Santa Claus will also receive one of the hand-made stockings and stocking stuffers. Operation Santa Claus – Fort Riley provides toys for children of E5 and below who may be facing financial difficulties during the holiday season.
