The wounded warriors, former Soldiers of Company C, 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, accompanied the redeployed Soldiers through initial in-processing, and later participated in the welcome home ceremony at the Fort Carson Special Events Center. “It was a great feeling seeing them come home,” said Searles. “It felt like I was coming back home too.”
