231027-N-LK647-1440 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 27, 2023) Naval Aircrewman (Tactical Helicopter) 2nd Class Devin Morgan, assigned to the “Spartans” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 70, from New Orleans, Louisiana, prepares to land aboard the the world’s largest aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during routine flight operations, Oct. 27, 2023. Normandy is part of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group and is currently operating in the Mediterranean Sea, at the direction of the Secretary of Defense.
