Army contractors are installing POET systems like this one to filter PFAS from drinking water in the East Selah, Washington, community where PFAS levels are at or above 70 parts per trillion. This design includes pre-filter and granular activated carbon filters, a water softener, a chlorine injection system, a UV system, and post filter. The Army will provide continued monitoring and upkeep of these systems.
