Sodexo employees with Wallace Creek Mess Hall 100, participate in a simulated evacuation as a part of a kitchen fire safety class provided by Donald Topliff, a fire inspector with the Camp Lejeune Fire and Emergency Services Division (FESD), on Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 24, 2023. Members of the Camp Lejeune FESD visit mess halls across MCB Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River annually to teach kitchen fire safety in support of the Fire Prevention Week. This year’s campaign, “Cooking safety starts with YOU.
