Afghan soldiers from the 4th Kandak, Engineer Company, Afghan National Army, demonstrate their ability in linking detonation cord together to achieve proper demolition procedures, as their mentors from 258th Mobile Combat Engineer Training Team, Task Force Prowler, watch over them to ensure their proficiency. The ANSF participated in a two-week course in which soldiers learned principle combat engineer skills. In order to graduate, the soldiers had to demonstrate proficiency in handling explosives, neutralizing booby traps, breaching obstacles and combat medical tasks. (U.S. Army photo by 1st Lt.
