An athlete executes a flexed-arm hang to earn a prize during the annual Marine Corps Holiday Classic track and field meet at The Armory New Balance Track and Field Center in Manhattan Dec. 27. Females aren’t currently required to do pull-ups but do a flexed-arm hang instead. Females in the Marine Corps are currently transitioning from the hang to pull-ups and the change will be in full effect come 2014.
