An LC-130 "Skibird" assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing sits at on the skiway at Willliams Field, Antarctica, on Feb. 6, 2020. The New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing flies the largest ski-equipped aircraft in the world and supports Antarctic research.
